Tom Jonard's 6"
f/8-1/3 telescope
Here's the 6" setup on the lawn
at
Perkins Obersvatory in Delaware, Ohio.
This is a 70's vintage Criterion RV-6
that I've refurbished. The tube, primary and cell, secondary and
spider and focuser are original. The 6X finder is a
replacement.
The 0X finder is a modified Tasco gun sight. The rings holding
the
OTA are slightly over-sized to allow tube rotation. The mount is
a standard Polaris mount with Right Ascension drive.
